Help Deb Olsen in Her Fight for Life

Hi, my name is Kim Mortenson and I am fundraising for my sister Deb Olsen, she is 61 years young. She has stage four lung cancer. Also she has a mass in her colon that they haven’t been able to get to yet to get a biopsy. She’s going to have a colon CT scan coming up next week and they’re hoping this will allow them to get to the mass and get a biopsy so they can find out what type of cancer it is so they know how to treat it. She cannot work. She’s going through chemotherapy for the lung cancer, she goes once a month for six hours. She has lost her hair and has side effects from the chemo that make her feel sick. The doctors are really good and give her medication ahead of time to help with the side effects. She does not have any money, at the time, coming in and we want to help her so she can concentrate on the cancer and chemo and not about how she’s going to pay bills, get groceries, and personal items. The cancer she has is not curable but with treatment there is a chance that it will go into remission and give her longer to live. It's hard for us to watch her stress out over having no money, cry and just get nervous and scared. We are hoping that this GoFundMe page will raise money so she can pay her bills and get groceries and just have some spending money. She needs a wig, but can’t afford one so we could use the money for that as well. I would like to thank you in advance for anything you can contribute. This is Deb‘s second battle with cancer.
