Help Deb Welch Defeat Breast Cancer!

Hi All!
As many of you know 2023 did not start off as any of us planned for our mother and friend Deb Welch. What started with noticing a small little lump just before Christmas 2022 to fast forward to New Years Eve Day having results sent to us electronically saying the words no one wants to hear “Cancer”. Starting 2023 resulted in in a whirlwind of so many tests and appointments and then the waiting game for the gruesome details. All in All resulting in 6 entire months of regular Lab Tests/ Radiology Tests/ Aggressive Chemotherapy/ Invasive Breast Surgery and now finally starting July 17 - a grueling 7 Months in she is Finally meeting up with 16 Sessions of Radiation Treatments.
These last 7 months have been at times daunting/ emotional/ unexpected and so much more. We went into this with high hopes of Deb being able to retain some sort of normalcy with being able to keep working and enjoying the activities in life that bring her joy but sadly that decision was made by her aggressive treatment that was just not an option. Side effects hit her pretty quickly and forced her home to recover and rest before the next round started.
If there is one thing we know for sure… she has incredible friends and family that have rallied with kind words/ cards/ thoughtful gifts/ encouragement phone calls to check in/ much needed vent sessions with so many well wishes and prayer’s which we cannot even begin to thank you for. It has truly made her feel so incredibly supported. So many of you continue to reach out and ask us what she needs and I could not be more grateful for this uplifting generous support. It truly takes a village of support for what she has been going through!
At this chapter of 2023, even with her medical insurance covering some of her medical bills she is still met with some struggle with the everyday bills that we all pay. She will continue to have limited coverage for the HER2 infusion treatments she will need through the remainder of this year and into next.
At this time we are reaching out for additional support from family and friends that can help contribute any level of monetary donation to help her get some financial relief. If there is one thing we know for sure Deb is a fighter, and she will pull out of this ugly part of her life. She is a great person who could use a little help at this time.
