Help Dee Escape Homelessness & Abuse

Hi, everyone. I have created a new fundraiser because I have been street homeless for over a year now. And I am no longer living with my abusive family.

I honestly don’t wish to share the details of what happened. It’s very personal and I haven’t had time to really process anything or talk to anyone about it.

But, with me becoming homeless, I don’t have any money left saved up. I’ve been crowdfunding daily for food and transportation, and it’s really time that I start saving up again so I can finally be housed and just put money towards my survival, safety, and transition. I can’t keep living like this. It’s not safe at all. Being homeless as a Black trans girl in Texas is just so dangerous.

My plan is still to move to NYC, as it has always been. Especially with all of the anti-trans/LGBTQ+ legislation happening lately, I need to move out of Texas ASAP and move somewhere where resources, community, support, and opportunities are more accessible.

So, just to be clear: I am currently street homeless after escaping an abusive household. I am still in Texas. And I have no money saved up. My plan is to move to NYC.

My goal is $5k, and it will be put towards moving costs and rent.
