Donate to help Deema's family migrate from Gaza

Hi, my name is Julie, I am from the UK, and this fundraiser is for my friend Deema who is currently displaced in occupied Gaza, Palestine. Each member of her beautiful family are very kind, smart and talented. Please read below about Deema and her family and what they are currently facing:

Hello, my name is Deema Al-Nairab. I am a 21 year old girl from Gaza. I live with my beautiful family, but danger is chasing me and my family. We have been forced to flee our home and move into a tent without food, shelter, or medicine for my family.

My family is in desperate need of help and we are relying on you kind hearted people to help us. My younger brother is only 15 years old and he has been selling roses to try to gather some money for our family to pay for essentials. My older sister, Sondos is 23, she studied law and is very talented at drawing. Some of her artworks are pictured below. My father struggles with diabetes, which due to these bad conditions, has become extremely difficult to manage due to the lack of insulin.

My older sister, Tasneem, who is 26 years old, is very caring and is a graduate of social services. My younger sister, Yomna who is 19, is very creative and is studying graphic design.

Pictured below is our belongings that we had to pack to leave and the tent which was the very expensive amount equivalent to £400. We are being displaced in an area that is very dangerous and that has very little supplies and where the price of everything is very high.

I was studying interior design and engineering at Al-Aqsa University which is now completely destroyed. This was my passion, I was ranked 4th in my high school with a score of 98.9/100, the certificates for which are below. Now I can no longer study there as the University is destroyed. A photo of me is below along with my university and my certificates.

Due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, death is quickly approaching us. I cannot imagine losing anyone from my family. We have done nothing except that we want to live in peace. Leaving our home is not a decision we have taken lightly, but it has become a matter of survival.

We need to evacuate the Gaza strip if possible so we need to gather funds to pay the very high cost of crossing the border. We also need money for essentials such as food and medicine.

We humbly appeal for your generosity to help me fund our evacuation from Gaza and to help me protect my family from death before it is too late. Your support, no matter how small, will make a big difference for me and my family.

I get the money from the link through my British friend Julie running the campaign link who transfers money to a friend in Egypt via PayPal to transfer directly to me. The transfer commission in Gaza is taken at about 18%.
