Help Deija Fix Her Car to Finish Dental School

Hi friends and family. I wouldn’t usually do this, but I am desperate. My name is Deija, and I got a used 2007 Toyota Prius to be able to drive my son and me to school. I am close to finishing the Dental Program but still have 3-4 months of externship ahead of me.

Last night, I discovered my car's hybrid battery needs to be replaced. It’s going to cost more than I could possibly pay. My goal is to graduate school, but I am fearful I will not be able to complete the program as well as keep my son in preschool if I no longer have a car. I am still making payments on this one, which would make it difficult to even attempt to get another.
