Help Delerna and Dee Moore Rise From the Ashes

Dearest friends, family, coworkers, and community,

If you know Delerna and Dee Moore, your heart is likely breaking for them as much as mine is right now. Amongst thousands of others, Delerna and Dee lost their beautiful home and all of their possessions in the Eaton fire that ravaged Altadena, CA.

Not knowing how to best support her I spoke with Delerna to ask for her gofundme link only to find out they didn't have one set up yet; so with her permission I am taking this task off of her overwhelming to do list. I'm committed to promoting the heck out of this fundraising request (and asking your help to spread the word) and will make sure the funds get to Delerna & Dee. It's overwhelming to ask for help when you are amidst such a large scale disaster/trauma but I have no qualms in asking for help on their behalf! Let's shower them with our support!!

I am so very thankful that they were able to get out safely, but now begins the arduous uphill battle of starting over. As many of you (especially those of us in the film industry) can relate, one of the first steps in trying to regain a sense of normalcy is getting back to work. Dee lost all of his mechanic tools in the fires and needs to be able to purchase replacements to get back to work, and their daughter is in need of a new laptop to continue her work as well. This is just the beginning. I have offered Delerna the use of my entire work kit to tide her over if she needs it but she's ultimately going to need a new kit as well.

If you've ever had the privilege, as I have, to receive Delerna's nurturing calm, her intrinsic happiness, and her deep soulful kindness, you know what a blessing she is in this world and how deserving the Moores are of our assistance. Please help Delerna and Dee get through this initial stage of loss, and let's raise them up so they have the funds and the strength to begin the long process of rising from the ashes.
