Help Delfino Muniz's Family with Funeral and Living Expenses

My name is Sarah Muniz and I am trying to raise funds in honor of my grandpa/dad Delfino Muniz. My grandpa was a strong, devoted, committed, and most of all loving man who always put family first. His main priorities were to work hard and provide for his family. He always made sure his wife had a beautiful home, food on the table, and a spot for the grandkids to sleep whenever they needed a home! He not only raised his kids, he raised his grandkids and even his great grandkids. My grandpa was a dad raising kids till the day he died. His home was always open. His door was never shut.
My grandpa died of a broken heart! He was never the same after my grandma died but he still pushed on knowing he was raising his son Elijah who is now 13. The last three years have been a hell of a fight for him and he never once gave up. He pushed through so much pain. He was so confused and so lonely without his wife, not a day went by that he didn’t kiss her picture and tell her good night. He longed for the day he be with her again. My grandpa is now at home in heaven with his beautiful wife, his son and his daughter.
Some of his greatest worries before he died, was leaving his son that he adopted. He also leaves behind my mom who devotedly took care of him till the day he died. She had to decrease her hours at work to care for him during his final months of hospice.
His small life insurance policy will barely cover the funeral but leaves no money for rent during these hard months. there was no savings as my grandpa lived paycheck to paycheck. My grandpa was the sole provider for Elijah and my mom, his income paid the rent and the bills.
I have had people reach out asking how to help so I thought I would start this GoFundMe. If you find it in your heart to help out even the smallest amount makes a biggest difference. This money will go to making sure we are able to set my mom and Elijah up to be able to pay the rent for a couple months until my mom can go to work full-time. This is also going to take care of the bills that are still due and other cost that will occur.
I thank you for taking the time to read this, and I thank you more for your words, your love, and your support. I just want my grandpa to rest in peace knowing everything’s gonna be ok!
The viewing will be Thursday, September 26th from 5 to 7 PM at Tabor Rice funeral home and the funeral will be Friday, September 27th at 11 AM. Followed by a procession to Fairview cemetery for his final resting place.
My grandpa will be buried three years to the date of the death of my grandma.
