Help Delilah breathe again

Tax deductible
We saved Delilah about 2 months ago. We noticed her walking by our neighbors’ home every day, begging for food. We assumed it was their cat since she had a collar on and one day she was rubbing up on them but then the neighbors kicked her away. When I asked the neighbors, they said they had adopted her a few months ago but they didn’t want her and she wouldn’t go away. They told me they stopped feeding her hoping she would go away and she didn’t. It had just stopped raining too and the poor girl was drenched. They were truly evil to her and they didn’t care if I rescued her (or not).

Delilah weighed 3 lbs at 7 months old. I also noticed she had an awful respiratory infection. We started her immediately on oral antibiotics, nebulizer and Terramycin for her eyes. After a week of doing this, Delilah only got slightly better. She was eating a little more. We went back to the vet and she gave us other antibiotics and drops for Delilah’s nose.

We were constantly at the vet for a month and half. We went to another vet because we needed diagnostic testing, the respiratory infection was off and on for weeks. It wasn’t normal and luckily, we did. They did x-rays that showed she had a polyp in her throat and her nose. Delilah needs surgery to get the polyp out. She needs a Rhinoscopy and Laringoscopy. The vet in the meantime gave her an anti-inflammatory shot and vitamin B but this is only a bandage for her real issue. The actual surgery, Rhinoscopy and Laringoscopy, is so expensive ($2,800+) and we already spent over $800 on her.

I am attaching her bills from office visit, pics, videos of her and the estimate for the surgery

It is a huge expense that we were not ready for but Delilah is totally worth it. We just wanted to help Delilah and after that find her a loving home. She is absolutely the BEST girl, such a lover and sweetheart. She is only 7 months old, she deserves a long healthy life where she can be spoiled, loved and be able to breathe normally. She is a true lap cat and the sweetest soul.

Any small amount helps
