RESOURCE TOGETHER is a nonprofit organization redistributing resources from places of excess to places of need.

We need your support to make a meaningful difference. Every year, countless medical supplies in the U.S. go unused, often ending up as waste, while clinics in rural Ghana desperately lack the resources to provide even basic care. By donating to cover shipping costs, you can help send these excess, unused, and reusable medical supplies to where they are needed most. Your contribution will not only reduce medical waste but also save lives and restore health in underserved communities in Ghana. Join us in turning what would be discarded into a lifeline for those in need.

We are beginning our efforts with:

1. Medical supplies shipment to the Central Tongu District's hospital and 5 health centers in the remote Volta Region of Ghana.

• To date, in-kind donations of laptops from the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) to the Central Tongu district health centers have greatly impacted how on-the-field medical data and caregiving is conducted to save lives.

• In June of 2024, we visited the district and interviewed the staff at the central office, as well as the 4 nurses and 1 doctor at one of the health centers, to create a detailed list of needed items which we are now working on obtaining.

• We have since partnered with Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in Portland and have been given (in the form of in-kind donations) a container's worth of pallets of gloves, PPE, and basic medical supplies.

2. Humanitarian supplies to orphanages at Danquah in the Central Region of Ghana.

• We have in-kind donations of large quantities of clothing, personal hygiene, feminine products, and toys from friends and family.

3. Educational supplies to the Akroso school in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

• We have in-kind donations of large quantities of books from the Newberg public schools, friends, and families.

We are using this platform to raise funds ($15,000.00) to ship a container of medical, humanitarian, and educational supplies to Ghana.
