Help deliver supplies and transport refugees.

My name is Tobey. I am helping Dave Black and John Graham (Springbrook and Campbellford area locals) raise money to help refugees that have fled Ukraine due to the ongoing conflict there. Their statement follows.

"As the military invasion in Ukraine escalates, millions of people are facing a serious humanitarian crisis and are in need of urgent assistance.

There are many great charities and NGO's involved and providing aid as they can.

Our plan is to fly to Berlin, load supplies that are in demand in the refugee camps, donate them to the NGO's who are doing the organizing, and return to Berlin with passengers to be housed by willing families in Berlin. We also plan to look out for refugees who are especially vulnerable due to discrimination (which has been widely reported to be an issue, unfortunately).

Your donation will provide gas money for the van and supplies to donate. It will also cover logistical expenses that may arise, as necessary".

Funds distributed to Dave and John will be to reimburse their out-of-pocket expenses that they have provided receipts for. Money remaining in this fundraiser after the mission is completed will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross's Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal.
