Help DeMareay’s Family Afford Rent

Hello Everyone,
My name is Nick Rucker. I am a senior at St. Xavier High School. Over the past two years, I have participated in the Big Brothers program. The purpose of this email is to ask for a contribution to the Go Fund Me page for assistance in supporting my little brother, Demareay, and his family. Demareay and his family have recently run into some financial problems. He is one of four boys led by his single mother, Sienna. They have faced much adversity over this past year and, as you could imagine, raising four boys on your own is quite a challenge. I have done my best to support the family by providing food and monetary help, but I cannot do this alone. To start, the Big Brothers program began nearly 70 years ago. Its goal is to lend older students to younger children in hopes of providing a role model and mentor. For many, Demareay included, have no male figure in their life. This is where students come in to help lead them to lives of success and enjoyment while teaching basic skills that may not be perfected by only a motherly figure. We engage in social events with other members all around Cincinnati. For me, Demareay and his family have helped me become a better person, and I am honored to be living out the St. Xavier motto of “being a man for others.“ Demareay’s big smile, quiet voice, and warm sense of humor show he has a great future ahead of him. I have witnessed the power and generosity of this neighborhood. If you are able, please make a contribution to help another family in need. Have a blessed holiday everyone, and thank you to anyone who contributes or shares this message.
