Help Denise and Her Dogs Heal Together

Many of you know and love Denise Galante. For many years, (too many to actually mention!) she has promoted the attributes of the Samoyed dog breed in not only breeding, showing, rescuing, and placing in FURever homes Sammies that needed to be placed, but also introducing the breed to people who may not be familiar with the breed. To say that Denise loves this breed is an understatement!

Now we are requesting your help and monetary support in assisting Denise. After not hearing from her for several days, her friends called for a wellness check for her. She was found unresponsive in her home along with her dogs. While we are not totally sure of how long Denise had been unresponsive nor how long her dogs were without food or water, we do know it was at least for several days. She was rushed by ambulance to Staten Island University Hospital where she remains in ICU. Denise is now able to communicate, but still not ambulatory. Two of her dogs were taken to a veterinarian hospital where they remain under veterinary care. The other two have been taken in by a good friend of Denise’s who is now lovingly caring for them. We feared that the oldest dog may not be able to survive, but yesterday, she started to eat on her own.

It will be a slow and long recovery not only for Denise but also for her dogs. Because the recovery road will not only be long but expensive for both Denise and her dogs, our goal is to raise $ 50,000.00. Please do consider donating now in Denise’s time of need.
