Hello, my name is Denise Clayton, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my beloved son, Reggie.
In 2018, Reggie miraculously survived an aortic dissection — a life-threatening condition that forever changed our world. Since then, he’s faced numerous emergency room visits and constant health challenges as a result of that initial trauma. Through it all, Reggie has remained strong, hopeful, and courageous.
On March 28, 2025, we found ourselves at Stanford Hospital — a national leader in cardiac care and a beacon of hope for those living with complex heart conditions like Reggie’s. Stanford has graciously taken on his case, and in the coming weeks and months, Reggie will be undergoing a series of crucial evaluations and a life-saving surgery to repair small tears in his aorta and stabilize untreated aneurysms that couldn’t be addressed in his original operation due to the critical nature of his condition at the time.
As you can imagine, this journey will involve multiple trips back and forth to Stanford, with costs quickly adding up — including lodging, transportation, meals, gas, and unexpected expenses related to Reggie’s care and recovery.
We’re humbly reaching out to family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers who may be moved by Reggie’s story. Your support — whether financial or simply through thoughts and prayers — means the world to us. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward Reggie’s medical journey and the road to recovery.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, generosity, and continued prayers. Your love and support are not only helping Reggie heal — they’re helping carry us through this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Denise, Reggie & Jason
