Help Dennis Auto rise from the Devil's Attempt to Defeat Us
Donation protected
Bill Dennis opened Dennis Automotive Repair shop business in California City over 35 years ago, a place where locals could go to get their cars fixed and a place for his sons, Larry and Jeff Dennis, to have a career and provide for their families. They have been residents of Cal City for over 50 years. Bill passed away in 2020, leaving the shop to the boys to continue their dreams.
Early Thursday morning, April 18, 2024, the auto shop was broken into and robbed. The individuals broke into the shop, put Jeff's and the shop tools in the back of a customer's truck, and drove through the roll-up bay door, causing lots of damage. Insurance has been contacted in hopes of securing the shop and replacing the needed tools, but even that coverage will not be enough for what Jeff needs to work. We set up this GoFundMe not for pity but to continue serving the residents of California City. Any excess amount will be donated to a local non-profit in California City.
You can also donate with Venmo or Zelle if you are not comfortable with GoFundMe. For Venmo donations, you can send to Becky-Dennis-7. For Zelle, use the number six six one two two zero three nine five four and please include "Dennis Auto" in the description. If you are unable to give, prayers are much appreciated to bring justice to this crime.
Please keep a lookout for the stolen truck, a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500HD 5.9 diesel, gray in color, with license plate 7Y44035, and the shop tools for sale. Report any sightings to the Cal City Police Department at seven six zero three seven three eight six zero six.
