Help Derick Gonzales with medical expenses

Hello family and friends of Derick Gonzales. Derick has recently been diagnosed with Acute angular glaucoma in his right eye which is legally blind. He has complete retinal detachment in his left eye, and is completely blind. His condition has continually deteriorated since May of this year. Struggling to work, he recently applied for disability, however will need to pay out-of-pocket for two years before he can receive Medicare coverage if and when he is approved. He needs continuing optical care every three months and will be forced to pay this out-of-pocket insurance expense. We are asking for help with Derick’s medical expenses so he does not have to worry.

Derick has always been a contributor to his community. Whidbey Island in Washington, outside Seattle, or back here in Colorado. I’ve known Derick since middle school. He is the type of person with a big heart who loves his family and is always ready to help out wherever he can.

Derick and his family could use any financial help you can offer to offset his mounting medical expenses.
