Help Derk Heal from Cancer

Dear Friends,
Gosh, I have a lot of mixed feelings about asking for help, but I need your help. Over a year ago, I was diagnosed with Stage IV rectal cancer and last February; I had radical surgery in my abdomen. Now they say I have metastasis in my lungs. It’s been beyond my capacity to look at computer screens and stay in contact with you all; thankfully, my children are now going to help with communication. I’ve been in a lot of pain, and focusing has been quite hard. I also feel complicated emotions about coming down with this disease, making it harder for me to reach out when needed.
I have come to understand that there is so much I can do to fight this terrible disease still myself. I am always reluctant to ask for help, wanting to hold my weight in this life, but alas…I cannot; here I am, needing support despite my renewed efforts to conquer this with a rigorous diet. I am experiencing how radical changes in many aspects of my life as an adjunct to the medical interventions of western medicine help increase my energy, allow me to sleep better and allow my brain to function better.
I’ve been practicing asking for help, and thus this letter.
I want to continue this nutrition regimen which includes lots of juice, herbs and supplements. I want to engage a team of Ayurvedic, Chinese Medicine, herbal medicine and physical medicine practitioners to custom tailor the adjunct therapies to the specifics of my body. I also need some further testing that isn’t covered by my medical service that will help me adjust my food program to build back vitality from the surgery, radiation and chemo.
My current adjunct healing practice includes many aspects beyond the powerful nutrition routine. These sources inform my practice: the Radical Remission Project, Chris Beat Cancer, Remedy Series Cancer E-Book, Remedy Series Episode 8 Transcript, the 6 Steps to Healing Yourself, and the RGCC Group cancer tests.
Although I am dedicated to this, I don’t have the energy to prepare daily food. With so much extra burden on my spouse, she also is finding it hard to keep up with my care and increased work on her part to hold up our family by running a business and caring for the kids fully, as I am unable to do either to a great extent right now. With this in mind, we’ve set up an extra bedroom to invite a part-time caregiver to live with us.
Here is how you can help: I have already burned through my savings after a year without work and the added costs of medicine and food. I need help financing the adjunct treatment protocols (nutrition protocols and hiring a caregiver part-time to support me in the full implementation of this health-building program that I’m responding favorably to. I’d also welcome my friends to help me implement this in person.
If you can help in these ways, please check out my Go Fund Me to offer support and catch updates on my progress. I can also receive communications at [email redacted]
It pains me to think of leaving my family at this stage; I have so much to share with my children, grandchildren, wife, and friends. I don’t think it's my time to go yet. This journey of healing cancer is continually humbling and requires surrendering again and again in the face of the obstacles I face. An amusing thought to me of late is, “Life is Risky,” and I choose to keep fighting for my life.
Thank you so much for your love, support and consideration!
Sincerely,
