In Memory Of Derpina Regina
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jack, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My sweet cat Derpina Regina—affectionately known as Derpy—has been my best friend and constant companion for 13 incredible years. She is a rescue who has brought so much light and love into my life, but recently, her health has taken a heartbreaking turn.
Derpy has dramatically lost weight over the past few weeks and is showing what I believe are troubling signs of cancer. I am devastated. She is still fighting—eating the highest-calorie kitten and senior food I can find, plus fresh tilapia and even some “people food.” I’ve been carrying her in a sling for hours each day, trying to comfort her as much as possible. But it’s clear she needs professional care to truly understand what’s happening and to alleviate her suffering.
Unfortunately, I can’t afford even the $60 for an initial vet appointment, let alone the diagnostic tests or treatments she may need. As much as it pains me to ask for help, I know I can’t do this alone.
I am setting up this fundraiser with the hope that I can give Derpy the fighting chance she deserves. The funds raised will go toward:
• Initial vet visit: $60
• Diagnostic tests (blood work, imaging, etc.): Estimated $300-$500
• Potential treatments or medications: Costs unknown but likely significant
Every little bit helps, whether it’s donating or sharing this campaign. My ultimate goal is to save her life if possible, or at the very least, ensure she is comfortable and surrounded by love in her final days.
Derpy has given me so much unconditional love and joy over the years. I owe it to her to do everything I can. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading her story, and for any help you can provide.
With gratitude,
Jack & Derpina Regina
