Help DeShara pay for her year-long workshop

Hi friends! I am currently very close to the finish line of my year-long workshop at Catapult with Angel Nafis. We have completed our chapbook-length manuscripts and I received excellent feedback. I am about 15-25 pages away from finishing my full-length manuscript and I need support to continue this work. The workshop originally cost around $5600 and I got a $2000 scholarship. But because I chose to pay monthly, there was a small fee that was added to it. I have paid over half of it myself while being unemployed and displaced because of the pandemic. But I need help paying for the other half. I have about $1700 left to pay. The other $300 will be used for first-book contest fees and other art associated costs. 

I want to share what work I have published because I have been working hard, not only on poetry but digital art as well. I am in the middle of changing careers and I have been taking graphic design/illustration classes all pandemic. 

I am very appreciative of any donations that come in. It's hard to ask for help especially because we all need it around this time. I don't take this for granted and I am grateful to those who support me and the arts. Thank you!
