Help Desmond Benimoff fight cancer again

Today Meghan Benimoff received the news no mom ever wants to hear. Your child has relapsed. After getting a call from the nurses office, Meghan picked up Desmond from school. Figuring he was coming down with something she had plans to take him to the pediatrician but ended up going to Oishei Children's Hospital. She was scared because his symptoms were the same as when he was first diagnosed. A short while later she received the devastating news.

Desmond battled leukemia and had been cancer free for a few years now but the worry was still always in the back of Meghan's mind. Over the years she and Desmond never forgot how important it was to be there for those who were fighting the same battle. The two of them attended as many fundraising and awareness events to help children battling cancer as they could and were always grateful for the love and support they received.

Now they need our support once again as we stand with Meghan and Desmond through this battle and let them know they aren't alone. Meghan is a single mom who just recently purchased a home for them, their three cats and their dog. She is going to have to miss a lot of work as she stays by Desmond's side.
