Help 21 year old Isaac get immunotherapy for brain cancer

My name is Harriet Wilton, and I'm writing this with a heavy heart for my 21-year-old brother, Isaac. Earlier this year, our world was shattered when Isaac, who was just 20 at the time, was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma—the most aggressive and devastating form of brain tumour.

Isaac was fit, healthy, and full of life. One Saturday morning in April, he was at the gym, doing what he loved, when he suffered a sudden seizure. Rushed to the hospital for an emergency head scan, our worst fears were confirmed: a tumour had caused the seizure. In May, Isaac underwent surgery to remove as much of the tumour as possible, and while the surgeons did everything they could, the biopsy revealed the heartbreaking truth—grade 4 glioblastoma.

Thanks to our wonderful NHS, Isaac has had surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. However, these treatments are not curative; they cannot kill every tumour cell. Glioblastomas are relentless, and only 25% of patients survive beyond one year. We refuse to let Isaac become another statistic. At just 21, he should have his whole life ahead of him—a future filled with more football matches, music concerts, good food, and precious moments with his loved ones, including his family, his long-term girlfriend, Caitlin, and his wonderful network of friends.

We’re determined to explore every option, and that’s why we’re seeking to fund immunotherapy treatment—an approach that isn’t offered on the NHS but has shown incredible promise for grade 4 brain tumours. This treatment uses Isaac’s own tumour, currently frozen and stored at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, to create a vaccine designed to train his immune system to fight back against the cancer as it regrows. It’s a groundbreaking and time-sensitive opportunity, and we are desperately trying to raise the funds needed to give Isaac the best possible chance.

This is a race against time. Glioblastomas are aggressive, and every single day counts. We need to raise £200,000 to cover the cost of immunotherapy, which could be life-changing for Isaac. He deserves the chance to keep doing the things he loves, to have hope, and to fight back against this terrible disease.

Isaac is the kind of person who brings joy and laughter wherever he goes—he’s my brother, my friend, and a light in our family. Watching him go through this is the hardest thing we've ever faced, and we’re reaching out for your help. Your donations, no matter how small, will go directly toward giving Isaac the chance he deserves to live his life.
Please, if you can, donate, share this page, and help us in this fight for Isaac’s life. We’re so grateful for your support.
