Hi, my name is Chris.

 

I have the honor of serving at one of the greatest churches in the world. Destiny Church, while young, has reached the hearts of so many hungry people in Missouri City, TX. Over the past 3 and a half years, God has been gracious and we have seen tremendous growth. We have been a mobile, load-in-load-out church since day one because churches were not allowed to occupy lease spaces in our city. While this seemed to be a temporary setback, God still opened another avenue to reach people that had been far from God for many years.

Last year, God orchestrated a change in City leadership, and miraculously opened the door for us to occupy a commercial lease space. What does this mean?

1. We have the opportunity to see exponential growth by doubling our capacity;
2. We can now begin to meet in a location that already attracts hundreds of visitors each week;
3. We no longer have to setup and take down our church every Sunday and therefore have the potential for further community involvement and reach.

We started construction in the Summer of 2021 and just passed our final inspections, giving us the ability to move in, and begin holding services.
"How does this affect me?" Glad you asked.

 

From the beginning this has been a move of faith. Over 70% of the funding for this project has come from OUTSIDE the walls of our church. That's right 70%! God has already blown our minds and has proven His faithfulness.

 

At every step, we have asked for help from our friends, family, and like-minded believers that want to see a thriving church in Missouri City, TX, and at every step, God has provided.

One final time (for this project), we take a huge leap of faith, and ask you to help us fund the closeout costs of this beautiful new church space. The dramatic rise of construction costs in 2021 have resulted in overages that are beyond our control.  But we are believing that God is going to provide all the funds necessary through people like you and me.  None of us can do it alone, but together we can! We are believing God for $35,000 THIS WEEK.

Yes, that's a short amount of time, but we believe nothing is too hard for the God we serve!
