Help Destiny get knee surgery

Hi, my name is Desiree and I am fundraising for my little sister Destiny. On February 21st, My sister dislocated her knee and was unable to get it to go back into place. The paramedics came and gave her some meds to knock her out, they carried her out in a kitchen chair and loaded her up to go to the hospital. At the hospital they were able to pop it back in but she had to be in a full leg brace. She has gone to the doctor and had MRIs and X-rays done on it. The doctor told her she will need to have a cadaver tendon put in place of hers now. Her surgery is scheduled for April 12th. She got a phone call today saying that she needs to come up with $3,900 the morning of surgery and $1,900 by Monday at her pre-op appointment. She has insurance from her work but it will not cover this and this is a surgery she can’t put off. On top of this she will be out of work for the next 6 weeks.
