Hi, my name is Deva and I am the founder of Game Day Photography. GDP is a startup sports photography business in northern Indiana. After 25 years of taking portraits and sports photos I found myself feeling like something was missing . I prayed about this for several years asking God how I could use my talents he has given me to give back. Making a positive contribution to our community is important to me. The mission of GDP is to support the youth in our communities doing something positive. We want all students to receive photos at no cost. The kids who these memories impact the most are often those that their families can not afford them. We want every child to feel like someone is at their game for them. Some kids don't have anyone in the bleachers cheering them on, I was that kid. I will never forget those parents who noticed my lack of cheering section and did things to help me. Mr. Park made sure I had a ride and Mrs. Haupert screamed as loud for me as she did her own daughter. I want to return the favor by giving back like they did for me. The memories we're providing for these students will be cherished for a lifetime. We hope to also inspire the next generation to join their local teams just like the kids they see in our photos. Sports provide so many valuable lessons that are used later in life. Like dealing with adversity when we didn't have a great game or our team lost, to showing up on time to practice and putting in the work necessary to become better.
