Help devestated family: funeral or other costs (Jesse 13yo)

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you today to help support Cindi & Jase, good friends who have over the years provided me with a great deal of support on my own journey of grief - I am trying to help pay back their support in the only way I know how.

Cindi and Jason have tragically lost their baby, their 13 year old son Jesse, after returning home from school to play football in his backyard, he began to suffer an asthma attack. His mum was faced with having to bravely provide CPR despite her physical ailments waiting for help to arrive. Jesse was taken to hospital and transferred to a children’s hospital to be placed on life support. His parents were told that he was without oxygen to his brain for a prolonged period (23 minutes) causing catastrophic injury after the asthma induced cardiac arrest. Following a bedside vigil, his parents made the heartbreaking decision to turn off his life support on Friday

In addition, Jesse’s older brother Cody, just 5 months earlier was lost in a motor vehicle accident at 18 years old after 14 weeks in hospital so without time to recover are facing further heartache. Please see the article below for information surrounding his death:

A little about Jesse, a chef in the making, he cooked a great steak, an animal whisperer, and fanatic gamer - Fortnite was a part of his daily routine. ‘Peanut’ was a shining young man, he had his whole life ahead of him.

The grief and devastation Cindi & Jase are experiencing right now cannot be put into words. As they navigate through this unfathomable tragedy, the financial burden of facing two loses in such a short time is overwhelming. I am reaching out to those who can to help in any way to help them cover costs of laying their precious son to rest, be that towards funeral arrangements or to help the family with costs while they navigate their grief.
