Hi, my name is Adam Ostrofsky. For the past 25 years of working in the restaurant industry, I decided to open my own business. I started my professional career after healing from a tragic accident which nearly took my left leg. I began at Blue Ginger in Wellesley, Ma, 19 years ago. Since then I have worked at several notable places, such as Ripasso, Cafe Beatrice, Revival and high end hotels. I have fond memories of my years spent at Sel De La Terre & Tavern Road, working under accomplished chef Louis Dibbicari.
On the side, I was the first member of a group called “The Satanic Temple,” where I hold the organization's title of their chef. I go by the name “The Satanic Chef.”
When the Pandemic hit, I, like many in the restaurant industry, lost my job. After this personal blow I decided to put out my own cookbook titled, “Devils Food, A Satanic Cookbook.” Shortly after, I decided to open my own company where I could become my own boss, without the fear of losing my job ever again.
My company, Devils Food, Street foods and Catering, opened at 3 Washington Street, Somerville, MA, 02143 this past week.
We need a little bit of extra funding to get the company 100% fully operational. This would go towards catering supplies, transportation upgrades and an overhead to pay employees.
