Help Devin Through This Challenging Time

As co-workers and friends of Dorothy (Dot) and Devin O'Neil, we have decided to start a Go Fund Me to help Devin in her darkest days.

Dot and Devin are not only mother and daughter, but also roommates, carpool buddies, co-workers and most of all, best friends.

Last summer, this family suffered an unimaginable loss when Dot's son and Devin's brother passed away unexpectedly. This was something that both were struggling to accept and find a new norm for life without him for themselves and Devin's four year old daughter, Meredith.

Last week, Dot became ill suddenly and required hospitalization. Unfortunately, Dot's body is too tired to fight and she is now under Hospice care.

After going through her son's death, Dot decided she needed to get her affairs in order so that Devin wouldn't have the burden of making decisions for her. Neither thought that this time would come so quickly and Dot wasn't able to get everything in place in time.

Our hope is that the community will come together and help Devin with burial expenses for Dot, as well as living expenses for the next few months. Devin has gone from two incomes paying rent, car expenses, utilities and groceries to now one income. She would like to continue living in the house that her young daughter has only known to keep some consistency in her life after losing her uncle and grandmother.
