Help DeWayne turn an HBCU classic BLUE for prostate cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name Dewayne Charleston and I’m a 15-year survivor of stage IV prostate cancer. I am blessed to be here and ask for your support of an initiative that will save the lives of many men who are at high risk of getting prostate cancer.
I am raising funds to partner with my foundation and two HBCUs, Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University.
On August 31, 2024 the two in-state rivals will meet in the annual Labor Day Classic and will don light blue apparel and accessories to bring attention to the disparities that exist in prostate cancer for men of color.
I am raising money to purchase the athletic wear for both teams. So far we have received a $30,000 donation and we must raise an additional $5,000.
This will be the first time that two college football teams wore light blue to highlight prostate cancer. It’s history in the making and I’d like to ask you to be a special part of it.
Please give what you can and go to my website for updates on the big game.
