Help Dexter the Miracle Cat Heal After a Terrifying Accident

Meet Dexter—a handsome, affectionate orange tabby who’s just under two years old. Recently, Dexter faced a tragic and terrifying moment when he was hit by a car. By the miraculous grace of God, Dexter survived. Thanks to the quick actions of his loving mama, Peyton Cox, he was rushed to the emergency vet where he underwent urgent tests and care.

While Dexter miraculously has no broken bones, he is suffering from internal bruising and is currently on three different medications to support his recovery. He is now home, resting and healing, but the road ahead still includes follow-up visits, ongoing care, and some hefty, unexpected vet bills.

Peyton, Dexter’s mom, is a dedicated and generous soul in the Colorado Springs community—working as a teacher’s aide, volunteering at the local animal shelter, and actively giving her time to church events and youth programs. Now, she could use a little support in return.
