Help Dexter with upcoming medical expenses

Hi! My name is Alex, and I hope to raise funds for my cat Dexter's medical expenses. Dexter is 13 years old and is the love of my life. Dexter (aka Nini) is an extraordinary cat and is the star of the show here. He loves to drink fresh water from a glass, sit on his lazy lounger and have tummy rubs. Dexter took care of me after my cancer diagnosis and slept in my lap almost constantly while I healed from surgery. He has earned the title of somninifer because any time we have difficulty falling asleep, he magically appears to lay next to us for belly rubs and his purrs put us right to sleep. I would do anything for him because I know he would do anything for me.

This year has been challenging for him, as after a few vet visits, we discovered he has hypertension, hyperthyroidism and vestibular syndrome. We don't know the cause of the vestibular syndrome and will need an MRI and CT scan to determine its medical reason. He has also started showing signs of what I believe is FOPS. We have a vet visit scheduled today. This past month he has shown signs of distress when grooming himself occasionally, which may mean we need to schedule an emergency MRI/CT in case the issues are linked and to treat him quickly.

I'm asking for help because I believe Dexter's issues can be treated, and he deserves the best chance. For an older cat, he is still incredibly spry and full of life. He runs around everywhere, plays a ton, eats and drinks well, and, apart from his episodes, is in good health (our vet said he has terrific teeth for an old boy and his kidney and liver are in good shape too).
