Help Dialysis Families Experience A Vacation

Lions Camp Dorset, a one of a kind dialysis resort for patients with kidney disease and their families needs to raise funds for a new medical facility.

In 1978 a dream became reality!

A camp specifically designed to allow dialysis patients and their families to enjoy a break from the routine of their treatments.

Built and maintained by Lions Clubs and other community volunteers, Lions Camp Dorset is a not for profit facility that has been putting smiles on the faces of patients with kidney disease and their families for over 40 years, by allowing them to be a family again in a quiet, remote setting surrounded by the support of others going through the same challenges daily.

The past couple of years have been tough for Lions Camp Dorset as it has for everyone. They do NOT have corporate sponsors and did NOT qualify for any government grants during the pandemic, and have remained closed since early 2020. To make things worse their primary support, Lions Clubs have been unable to fundraise as well.

Looking ahead to their next dialysis season in June of 2022, Lions Camp Dorset must rebuild and expand their medical building in order to comply with new guidelines and protocols. This is a massive undertaking and will cost upwards of $500 000, but with your help individuals with kidney disease can continue to enjoy making unforgettable memories with their loved ones, while still receiving their life saving dialysis treatments.
