This sweet and talented girl had her life turned upside down after she found a lump in her armpit.
Diamond was born September 03, 2008. She is the eldest sibling of four, having three younger brothers, Cash (a.k.a Nugget), JJ (a.k.a Hammer) and North (a.k.a Bitty).
She is from a small community in Northern Ontario where the village mascot is a polar bear. She lives with her brothers, parents and 87 y/o great- grandfather (a.k.a G-Pops).
Diamond is a talented musician and began playing piano at a very young age and has since picked up guitar and ukelele. Diamond’s parents will tell you that in times of crisis in her life she can be heard playing one of those instruments and singing atop her lungs.
Diamond has the biggest most forgiving heart of anyone you could ever meet and a funny bone that often has her family laughing to the point of tears.
In February 2024, Diamond brought to the attention of her parents a lump that she had found in her armpit, she was brought to the local hospital to have it assessed and what the doctors found concerned them to such extent that same day arrangements were made to have her care transferred to a more specialized hospital where she spent 4 days before being flown via air ambulance to Sick kids in Toronto.
Diamond has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and will begin treatment in the coming days.
She is 8 hours from home, misses her family terribly and would love to have all them by her side as she navigates the difficult and uncertain journey ahead of her.
The costs associated with travel, lodging and food are astronomical.
Diamond’s father has come to this realization, “This is my baby girl but we are all just one sick child away from financial hardship and or despair, however, hope can be found in the generosity of friends, family and complete strangers whether it be monetary, prayer or the transfer of positive energies.”
Your donation will most definitely help this family reunite and focus on the only thing that matters right now, bringing Diamond back home safe and healthy.
