Help Diana (Linda) Stay Afloat
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Julian, Diana's son, and I'm here humbly asking for help on behalf of a beautifully-hearted person that needs the kindness and love she has given to so many, come back to her in a difficult time.
As with many, Diana's workplace closed due to the pandemic. While we stayed safe and waited to see what would happen, we realized that her health didn't give her many bad days. And on bad days, she didn't have to push herself and set days for recovery after. With her doctor's suggestion, the news that her workplace wasn't opening again, she applied for disability. She has lupus, fibromyalgia, a heart blockage, and diabetes. For years, I witnessed her endure and do her best to be independent, helping her with anything she needed to be done at home or when her health got bad. But it was time for her to listen to her body and treat it with kindness.
The application process for disability is not easy and long for anyone who isn't aware. At this point, I ask for help. The property taxes are heavy on our shoulders, especially on my mother, who takes pride in this home that has held history for our family for generations. We know these are challenging times, but any bit of help is more than appreciated. Assistance with this will relieve us of a big worry as we move forward and she goes through this process.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and sharing if you choose to. And Thank you for helping if you can and choose to.
