Help Dida and Milan After the Eaton Fire

Hi, I am Mackenzie Schneider and I am helping to raise money for my friends Dida, Milan and their six year old daughter as they recover from the Eaton Fire.

The Markovics evacuated Altadena at 3:30 am in their beloved tiny Fiat 500 when the Eaton Fire ravaged their community. Although the house they rent survived, their home and possessions suffered toxic smoke damage and they cannot return to it until proper mitigation is completed.

They are grateful for the support they have in place, but they are not in a position to absorb the substantial extra costs required to restore their home and keep their family safe.

Currently Dida, Max, and Milan are staying with friends as they don’t have a policy that covers relocation expenses. As foreign nationals they do not qualify for disaster relief from FEMA.

I know they will be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer to help them return home and to the life they love.
