Help Diego Travel to Portugal

My name is Diego Romero, a 17-year-old senior athlete. I love soccer, and I've trained in soccer academies in Texas since the age of 5. Out of 500 soccer players in the league, I've been selected to join The Portugal Challenge! Only 22 players were selected! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young athletes like me to showcase their talent and be scouted by top institutions! This experience is not only about soccer, but also about creating unforgettable experiences that foster academic and personal growth. This challenge will give me the opportunity to compete against top European pro teams like FC Porto, SC Braga, Gil Vicente Futebol Clube and some others! This challenge also brings about recreational activities to enjoy during this trip and make lifelong memories in beautiful Povoa de Varzim, Portugal. It is such an honor for me to represent both Classic League and Become10.

My plan is play at a professional level. I have been preparing for this opportunity by training very hard and developing a growth mindset by improving my technique day after day. I am a senior at International Leadership of Texas with a 3.8 GPA, and I am the team captain of the Varsity Boys Soccer Team. I’m also a member of the Dallas Hornets Club in Plano, TX.

The trip is scheduled for March 8th-19th (11-day Tour).

My reason for creating this campaign is to ask for your support. Though I have the full support of my family, this was an unexpected expense that needs to be covered in a very short period of time. I want to help my parents as much as possible by raising money for my expenses for this trip. Below is a brief description of travel expenses:
