Support our Special Needs Classroom

Hello everyone, my name is Dillon Hollingsworth and I am a severe Middle School special education teacher. I’m reaching out to ask for your support in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our incredible, special needs students. I am an excited, first year teacher, taking over a classroom that hasn't been updated in over 20 years. I'm taking on 12 kiddos this year, and I'm determined to give them the best possible education I can. The goal: make our classroom a place of growth, learning, and inclusion. As mentioned before, these kiddos have severe special needs, such as Severe Autism, Down Syndrome, and Physical Disabilities. I want to provide them with the resources they need such as sensory tools, adaptive technology, and much much more in order to provide an environment that centers around their ABILITY not their disability. These resources are not just items, they are opportunities for these students to reach their full potential. I can assure you that every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
