Help Dimitrious Stanley’s Family

Calling on Buckeye Nation and those with a giving spirit… Dimitrious Stanley is in need of help again. Unfortunately, after going into remission for a while, his cancer is back. What started as prostate cancer in 2019, has now spread and metastasized throughout his pelvic area. Despite the setback, Dimitrious is staying very positive and he’s going to fight with everything he’s got! Thankfully, he is receiving great treatment through Ohio State‘s James Cancer Hospital. However, hospital bills are adding up again and he needs our help to stay in the fight.
In February, Dimitrious received the Courage Award from the Columbus Chapter of the National Football Foundation, which is no surprise. So far, he has had five surgeries, along with chemotherapy, in hopes of getting rid of all the cancer once and for all. A fight like this is extremely daunting, so with the help, support, and love from others, we hope to make this journey a little easier on him and his family. Dimitrious‘ wife, Jessica, and their three children (Aubrey, Lexi, and Dakota) just want to see him come through this and continue inspiring others. Please help by sharing this on social media and/or donating anything you can. We greatly appreciate your support!
Go Fund Me asked that I update the story with the following information: My name is Tyson Gentry and I live in Georgia. Dimitrious and I know each other because we both played football at Ohio State. I first became aware of Dimitrious‘ battle with cancer when he was nominated as a recipient for the Courage Award I give out each year for the Columbus Chapter of the National Football Foundation. All the money raised will be used to help him pay for his cancer treatments, as his insurance does not cover everything.
