As difficult as it has been to share this post, I know for the fact that it sure brings a gleam of hope.
Back in India eighteen days ago, my father was diagnosed with COVID-19 and is hospitalized since. The infection has spread to his lungs and the battle continues. Not only is it heartbreaking to not be by his side, family’s financial resources have almost been drained. The health insurance has expired which makes it extremely difficult to cover the hospitalization charges of over $2000/per day. As our family continues to consume all resources, we know it’s not going to be enough. Bills have been adding up, resources have been depleting. Asking for help is never easy, let alone asking for financial help. But sometimes it takes a village and going above and beyond for family never seems unusual.
Anything is sincerely appreciated, be it a penny or a prayer.
