Help Dina and John Navigate Cancer
Donation protected
A few months ago, our mom was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. If you know Dina, our mom, you know that she is a fighter, and so she has elected to endure chemotherapy to give her as much time as she can have with her family and friends. Chemotherapy has proven to be challenging, but Dina has not lost hope, and she will not give up on her fight. With treatment, Dina is hopeful to be able to extent her life as long as possible, but eventually cancer will be what robs us of a future together with a beautiful person that brings so much love, laughter, and compassion into any room or surrounding she enters. We are asking anyone who receives this to help us to show Dina and her husband LOVE. Our mom has been a wife to John for almost 40 years, she brought 3 beautiful children into this world, and she has been blessed with 5 amazing grandchildren. Dina’s grandchildren are her world, and she is passionate about caring for and spending her time with her family and friends. There is no better place than Nana and Papa’s home. Their home is a place where everyone is welcome, and where you will feel loved and you will walk away with amazing memories and a full belly. This all possible because of this big hearted, Godly woman. Dina has served God's people for many years through teaching and volunteering in Sunday school, volunteering to help the homeless in her community, and by impacting so many lives around her. Dina is everyone's mom. Dina has always taken care of those who were sick or unwell around her, and it has been rare for her to be sick. The painful reality now is that cancer has made her sick.
God only knows what lies ahead for Dina. Her husband John has been the soul provider for their family for nearly 40 years, and he is also her biggest supporter. John will have to endure the pain of cancer along side her, while caring for her. The challenges Dina and John will face are unknown. No one can plan emotionally or financially for cancer. We are asking you for help so that her husband John can be at Dina’s side, and that they may have less worry about their financial responsibilities during treatment. We ask if you cannot provide financial help, please pray for her and her family, and feel free to reach out with a word of encouragement or to simply spend some time with Dina and John.
Thank you so much for your time. God bless you
