"Masaq Educational Tent" for Refeuge Children in Gaza

My name is Dina Ramadan Okasha, a 24-year-old resident of northern Gaza and a member of a family of 10. When the war began, my family and I were forced to evacuate to Rafah in the south of Gaza, where we currently live in the largest refugee camp.

Before this conflict, I was the proud owner of the Masaaq Education Center, a beautiful two-story building that stood as a symbol of hope and education for our community. Unfortunately, it was completely destroyed by an Israeli missile. This center was not just a building; it was my dream—one I built with my own hands despite facing significant financial challenges.

Despite the immense loss and the pain of displacement, my ambition and commitment to education remain unshaken. I am determined to continue my mission of serving the children of my country, especially those who have been deprived of their education due to the war. To this end, I have started a new initiative, the Masaaq Educational Tent. With very limited resources, this tent aims to provide education, entertainment, and a sense of hope to the newly displaced children who have lost so much.
