Help Dina's Family Rebuild Their Home in Gaza

"We lost our house! We saw our home collapse in front of our eyes", said Dina.

My name is Elizabeth and I am a friend of Dina's located in the US. I am helping to share her and her family's story, and 100% of the proceeds will be sent to them to help them rebuild their homes and their lives.

Dina Turkieh is a 22-year-old dental student who lives in Gaza, Palestine. She has plenty of dreams and plans, but the war turned her life upside down, and the only dream she has is to have her life back as before, to have a safe, lovely, warm home again with her family. 

“I grew up in this house; it has always been the safe place for me and my family. My first steps when I was young were there; my celebration party for getting the highest score in high school; all the hard studying nights for the university; and my enthusiasm for the graduation year were in our beloved home".

On October 19, 2023, Dina's family house was bombed by aggressive Israeli air missiles. Israel destroyed the whole neighborhood, including her house.

"Our house became ash. My father built this house with blood, sweat, and tears. I remember that we built it room by room. He was so heartbroken that all his efforts all over the years went in a blink of an eye." said Dina with sorrow.

Dina and her family are now in the south of Gaza, sharing a room with 23 other family members in an extended relatives' home. 

In her own words, "We are living now in inhuman conditions, there aren't any of the basic life needs; there aren't enough food, water, blankets, clothes, internet, or medical supplies. We suffer from the contamination and spread of epidemic diseases."
