Help Disabled Latina Family Keep Safe Housing

My name is Sabi. I'm a full-time caretaker for my elderly mother. We have been in a terrible housing situation for years. We moved here trying to have a better life in 2019. A year later the management of the apartment complex changed and things have gone downhill from there and fast.

I'm a disabled Latina woman and taking care kf my mother with dementia full time. For my own mental health and to safely take care of her without having weekly or monthly breakdowns I have started my own business but the growth is slow.

My sole income is from tips, commissions, contract work and monthly supporters on my kofi page.

I have a neighbor who has threatened my life, they are violent and sleeping with the maintenance staff. The staff has been verbally abusive to me and when I reported that to the office the maintenance staff started ignoring my maintenance requests. Another neighbor who moved out because of the several shootings we've had over the years told me that the neighbor who has threatened me told her how the maintenance staff admitted they delete my maintenance requests.

September 2022 the toilet in our hallway clogged and overflowed. They cleaned up the flooding that destroyed half of my emotional support bunny's toys and belongs. However, they refused to unclog the toilet they said I needed to fish out the sewage "toilet paper" that was in the bowl. I removed everything endangering myself and injuring my physical disabilities (scoliosis and tendinitis). A year later and they haven't fixed anything. I have to harass the office to get even the AC fixed.

Today our only functional toilet has becomed clogged. The plumbing here is awful. I cannot brush my teeth in the sink. I cannot shower without being knee deep in water and as I mentioned they don't fix anything.

I've been struggling to cover bills the last few months. I would like help raising funds to hire packers and movers because I don't have help here in my city and my mom and I cannot carry heavy objects. She is 70 years old. I cannot lift more than 5 pounds without severe pain and injury to my fragile spine. I also will probably need a hefty deposit because of my lack of "employment history" since I have been a small business owner full time since getting laid off in January.
