HELP DISPLACED CIVILIANS IN LEBANON WITH EMERGENCY AID!

CIVILIANS IN LEBANON ARE UNDER ATTACK

Since Monday, September 23rd, over 700 people (including 50 children and 90 women) have been killed during Israeli attacks in Lebanon. During last week's pager blasts in Lebanon, 12 people were reported killed. 2 were children and 4 were healthcare workers. Hundreds of thousands are currently fleeing the massive and devastating attacks carried out by the Israeli government. People are fleeing from southern Lebanon to Bekaa and our local staff tell us how the local schools are filled with desperate people who have fled. At the same time, the Lebanese population is petrified of what tomorrow might bring.

SUPPORT WITH WATER, FOOD AND PADS

Circle of Wellbeing is currently working around the clock to help the thousands of displaced civilians in the Bekaa Valley and we need support to distribute basic emergency aid like water, food, and pads. We also need support to continue running our women's center, which is the focal point for the many vulnerable women and children who stay there. This is crucial since people are living in shelters and don't have money to buy these items.

Remember that civilians are human beings. No civilian is worth less simply because they are trapped in a particular region. We must stand together now.

Circle of Wellbeing is a Norwegian NGO based in Lebanon that focuses on supporting the well-being of Syrian refugees and Lebanese and Palestinian women living in the Bekaa.

We strive to empower and support women in the Bekaa Valley in a safe environment despite what background, sexual orientation, beliefs, or religion they might have. Through yoga, meditation, art and awareness sessions, the women can become more aware of their own body, mind, rights, and mental and physical wellbeing.
