Help displaced seniors at North Park Village

By way of introduction, my name is Danielle Cotton. I am a native of Nashville, TN and reaching out on behalf of my grandmother, Norma Upshaw and the residents of North Park Village Senior Living Community in Madison, TN. https://northparkmadison.com

 

For over 50 years, this property has housed lower-income senior citizens with both assisted and independent living care. The community currently houses approximately forty 65+ senior citizens, with one being 92 years old.

 

As of last week, every resident living at North Park Village was informed that their long-standing senior living complex had been sold to an investor (no name given) to build new condos and all residents must vacate the property by March 16th.

 

It is a terrible situation for these low-income senior citizens. As a result, I hope to build awareness, bring this injustice to the forefront, and advocate for this community. As of now, we have many residents with various needs including but not limited to:
