We have all watched the unfolding events in Ukraine over the last months and witnessed the desperation of innocent families, as they have had to flee their homes, often with little more than the clothes they have on. As the war continues, on average, 120 displaced Ukrainians arrive through Edinburgh Airport daily.

We are working closely with the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) in Edinburgh and Glasgow and our fantastic charity partners, Volunteer Edinburgh Sunflower Relief, Dnipro Kids and Edinburgh Council, to ensure we provide help where it is most needed.

To date, the incredible generosity of donations has meant everyone has received a bag of essentials, including items like toiletries, adaptors, and a cuddly toy for children. Support has been provided for displaced people to meet their new families, and welcome events to meet other Ukrainians have been organised.
