HELP DIVYA FIGHT LEUKEMIA

Hi, I am Bobby Philip and I am raising funds for my friend Divya Sijo, who is battling acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Divya is a Registered Nurse working in one of the NHS Hospitals in England, she arrived United Kingdom from India on December 2022 with lot of colourful dreams but sadly she has been diagnosed with AML in November 2023. She has been undergoing chemotherapy and the Doctor treating her has recommended six months sick leave which will affect the family financially.

Divya is a passionate Nurse caring for her patients and bringing smiles to the patients she cares for. She is a great friend, a wonderful wife to her husband and a loveable mother of two lovely girls aged 10 and 8 years old. Her family arrived United Kingdom May 2023, it’s been a hard phase for her husband Mr Sijo to single-handedly manage the little girls and taking care of his wife during this unprecedented phase especially with the rise in living cost. Meanwhile, Mr Sijo is looking for a job to support the family. Divya and her family have a bright future ahead and they deserve a chance to live their dreams.

But right now, Divya is fighting for her life. AML is a very aggressive and fast-growing cancer that affects bone marrow and blood cells. The Doctors treating her are already thinking of bone marrow transplant in case if chemotherapy does not show progress. Divya has been through a lot of pain and suffering and she needs our help to overcome this unexpected situation.
