Help DJ Dizzo on his final journey to Rwanda

Donation protected
Hello, my name is DJ Dizzo, and you may recognise me from my love of music and positive energy on the internet. I also have a special place in my heart for the country of Rwanda.

I was recently told that I have less than 90 days to live, and while my body is deteriorating daily, the love I've received from others is strengthening my mind and spirit. I only have one wish before I die, and that is to die in the country where I was born. As a final wish, I would like to spend my final days in Rwanda.

My battle with cancer

In 2018, when I was only 19 years old, I was told I had nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a rare head and neck tumour that starts in the nasopharynx. I got treatment in the form of chemoradiotherapy. Three months after treatment, I was given the all-clear and given hope that I had beaten my cancer. Due to the pandemic, there was no more follow up.

In April 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, I started having pain in my abdomen. In December of that year, after a few scans and many trips to the hospital, I found out that I had another cancer in the area of my pelvis and spine.

I've been told that I have less than three months to live because my cancer is now incurable and any treatment would just put off the inevitable.

At age 23, my life is almost over, and I only have one more wish: to die in Rwanda. I just want to spend my last days in the country where I was born.

My transfer and last treatment aren't cheap, and lately, my wonderful friends and family have been helping me pay for them myself. I thank them and ask you to be kind and help me enjoy my last few days in Rwanda.

The costs of my transfer and last treatment aren't cheap, and lately, my medical bills have been paid with the help of amazing friends, family, and people with kind hearts on the internet. I want to thank them and ask you to help me have my last days in Rwanda.

I don't have much to give you in this world except my story, which I hope will give you hope when you have to face the inevitable. I hope you have hope and courage in your last days and face the hard times head-on.
