Help DJ Michelle Bee Recover After Crash
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Michelle, also known as DJ Michelle Bee. I’m a full-time DJ, entrepreneur, and mother of two, and I’m reaching out for help after an unexpected and challenging event.
Around 7:30 PM, I was getting onto I-84 W when a sedan intentionally slowed traffic by occupying two lanes. Once I merged onto the highway, the sedan sped off toward the I-91 S exit. Seconds later, a box truck cut me off, causing me to slow down to about 55 mph. As traffic picked back up, I glanced in my rearview mirror and saw a car speeding toward me. With no time to react, I braced for impact, and my car spun out of control, rolling over three times. When I finally came to a stop, I unbuckled my seatbelt, climbed out the window, and just started walking.
I’m incredibly fortunate to have walked away with only abrasions and bruises—no broken bones. However, the accident totaled my car and scattered some of my most important possessions, including my DJ equipment, cell phone, and house keys. To make matters worse, the other driver's story is (obviously) conflicting and the police determined no fault. With only liability coverage, I’m left with a significant financial setback. The tow yard is holding my belongings, and I need legal assistance to navigate the situation and recover my property.
As a full-time DJ and business owner, my livelihood depends on having reliable transportation and working equipment. The funds I’m raising will go toward replacing my car, retrieving/replacing my equipment, covering tow yard fees, and securing legal help.
I’ve always worked hard to support myself and my family, and I’m asking for your help to get back into the community! Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping me recover and continue doing what I love.
Thank you for your support during this challenging time.
