Help Mix Master Mitch Fight S4 Pancreatic Cancer
Gary “DJ Mix Master Mitch” Mitchell is an Atlanta radio veteran. Born and raised in Atlanta, Gary is proud to be a “Grady Baby” and graduate of Mays High School, Class of 1983. Gary “DJ Mix Master Mitch” has been entertaining Atlanta listeners as a radio personality, emcee and DJ for over 30 years. His comedic delivery on the microphone and mixing of old school and today’s R&B tracks create the perfect dance blend to engage the audience. The playful DJ is a club favorite with original fans from KISS 104.1 to his current part-time stint at Classix 102.9. DJ Mix Master Mitch knows how to keep the music flowing and the crowd dancing.
Unfortunately, DJ Mix Master Mitch was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2021. Pancreatic cancer begins in the tissues of the pancreas — an organ in the abdomen that lies behind the lower part of the stomach. The pancreas releases enzymes that aid digestion and produces hormones that help manage blood sugar. Pancreatic cancer is seldom detected at its early stages because it often doesn't cause symptoms until after it has spread to other organs.
Gary would greatly appreciate your donation during this difficult time. Cancer care is costly. It also affects income for Gary because of his physical condition. The financial, medical and prescription costs associated with cancer are overwhelming when trying to manage unexpected charges that health insurance does not cover. Gary is currently undergoing cancer treatment and unable to work full-time. He had to adjust to this diagnosis and treatment plan very quickly and could use a helping hand.
Please give today. Your financial gift will bring hope to Gary as he fights this battle with cancer.
