Help Tahrir's Family Survive in Gaza
Donation protected
UPDATE 8/31
The family has fled to the beach after multiple evacuations and had to leave their tent behind. Thankfully, with the help of your donations, they were able to get a new one. Survival is extremely hard as they wait for the borders to open. They struggle to get food and medicine and have witnessed horrific bombings close to their area. Any donations are greatly appreciated and vital to this family’s survival
UPDATE:
Khamees underwent a tonsillectomy without proper conditions/medications due to a severe infection. This sweet child needs help as soon as humanly possible. His family has been ordered to evacuate yet again, but there is nowhere to go. Thank you for your support.
Hi, my name is Raina Carter and I live in Portland, Oregon. I am raising critical funds for my friend Doaa's beautiful family, currently trapped in Gaza (currently in Khan Younis). They are facing constant hunger, thirst, lack of adequate shelter, and are under threat of unspeakable violence at any given moment. The family is battling illness/injury with no access to medical care. They are currently sheltering in Khan Younis living in tents after fleeing Rafah. They cling to the hope of escaping to Egypt once the borders reopen. Any donation, big or small, will provide them with vital resources during this desperate time and contribute to their future safety and well-being. We are praying that we raise enough funds to get them to Egypt to re-unite with my friend Doaa (their sister) and her young son Omar. Your donation is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you.
Details:
Doaa has 3 sisters who are trapped in Gaza with their spouses and small children. The funds will be used for the $5000 (each) fee to cross the border into Egypt.
Tahreer Jad Al-Haq and her husband Ahmed have 4 children: Fatima, Khamees, Sarah and Ameer. Ameer is a toddler with a broken pelvis and in desperate need of medical care.
Fidaa and her husband Hashem also have 4 children: Dima, Abdullah, Islam, and Duaa. Hashem has an arm injury and needs medical care.
Doaa's 3rd sister is Aseel, she is 29. She is an ambitious student of English. This wonderful family has lost absolutely everything. Their homes, their businesses, there is nothing left. They live in tents close to raw sewage with extreme heat, insects/scorpions, infectious diseases, and the imminent threat of extreme violence at the hands of Israel. The primary concern is immediate safety.
Again, thank you thank you THANK YOU!
