Help "Doc" Raise $20,000 for Rescue Horses!!!
Tax deductible
So "Doc" once again screwed up and has been sanctioned by Racing Authorities for being too aggressive with his thigh whipping when rooting horses home at the track. As a result, he has been sanctioned by the proper authorities to 72 hours of confinement in a horse stall and a $20,000 fine for his sins. The $20,000 raised is to go directly to the equine rescue PARR, a dedicated horse rescue in the Ocala area that is 100% volunteer run and dedicated to taking on challenging cases of horses that have come off the racetrack, been neglected, or are in other types of need to be retrained for 2nd careers ( be that in another discipline or just as a horse that lives out the rest of their life in green pastures). Every cent raised goes directly to the horse's care here at PARR, and YOUR help in providing those funds is needed now more than ever!! Please give what you can to help "Doc" get out of the stall and...more importantly...help so many horses in need!!!
More information about PA Racehorse Rehoming, Rehabilitation, and Rescue: PA Racehorse Rehoming, Rehabilitation & Rescue (PARR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit equine welfare organization that takes in, cares for, rehabilitates, retrains and rehomes Thoroughbred horses who have previously raced or been in training to race (occasionally other breeds and non-racing horses as well). We also work to educate the community about ex-racehorse (OTTB) abilities, talents and inherent value, thus helping unwanted horses and those no longer able to perform up to the standards of their prior jobs.
